Meredith Heuer grew up in Detroit and spent a decade in New York. She currently lives in Beacon, NY with her husband and two sons.

Her work has taken her around the world for publications such as Fortune and Gourmet.

She has published two books on architecture with Chronicle Books: At Home in the Hudson Valley and Haven.
